After you have found the perfect ripe avocado, what next? Make this super yummy milkshake!
Ingredients & Instructions
You will need:
Ripe Avocado: A medium to large avocado shall be enough. Avocados also contribute to the thickness and creaminess of this milkshake.
Sugar: The quantity of sugar mentioned in the recipe is with the addition of ice-cream.
Milk: Use full-fat milk for creamy and thick milkshake.
Ice-cream: Any Vanilla ice-cream shall suffice.
Vanilla Extract: Skip if adding ice-cream.
What to use instead of ice-cream?
It’s a fact that ice-cream makes milkshakes thicker and creamier. If you are not using ice-cream, use full fat milk for making the milkshake or add some heavy cream to the milkshake in addition to other ingredients.
Also, you would need to adjust the sugar(add more) to balance the sweetness which ice-cream contributed.
So if you do not have ice-cream at hand,
- use full-fat milk + extra sugar
- use regular milk + heavy cream + extra sugar
As is, avocadoes too contribute to the thickness of this milkshake, so even if you just blend avocadoes, sugar and cold milk together that is fine too. I use this mixer for making my milkshakes.

Ingredients
- 1 medium Ripe Avocado
- 2 scoops Vanilla Ice-cream
- 5 tbsp Sugar
- Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (skip this if adding vanilla ice-cream)
Instructions
- Cut the avocado and transfer to blender.
- Add cold milk, ice-cream, sugar and blend.
- Serve immediately.
